Getting older sucks and it's much harder
to find a girl to date. In my 20s I could fuck up, be broke, act immature, and still have decent options. Now I’m staring down the barrel of my 30s and it feels like the window is slamming shut. Most women my age want someone who already has their shit together — good money, a house, emotional stability, and zero drama. I’m working on it, but I’m not there yet, and the dating apps make me feel like damaged goods.The honest truth? A lot of the women left in the pool have heavy baggage — baby daddies, trust issues, or they’re jaded as hell from their own bad experiences. The ones who seem normal either ghost after a few good conversations or lose interest once they find out you’re not making six figures or driving a luxury car. It’s brutal for your ego. You start questioning if you’re the problem, if you’re not attractive enough anymore, or if you’re just cursed with bad timing.
Most nights I just feel fucking lonely. I want real connection, good sex, and someone to build with, but the older I get, the more it feels like I’m settling or being settled for. Everybody tells you “it’ll happen when you least expect it,” but that’s bullshit when you’ve been expecting it for years and nothing’s changing.
